Chapel of Notre-Dame-de-la-Roque

A Romanesque chapel of the 11th-12th centuries (nave and apse, barrel vault), set on a spur overlooking the plain. A belvedere has been laid out with orientation tables, one of which, on the north side, opens the view towards the Lac de Sainte-Croix.

Church of the Transfiguration (Saint-Sauveur)

A 17th-century parish church, with an octagonal bell tower added in the mid-19th century. A bull of Pope Gregory IX is said to point to an early link with the Templars.

Château de Moissac-Bellevue

A château from the end of the 16th / beginning of the 17th century, privately owned and restored, awarded a prize by the Vieilles Maisons Françaises association.

Clock Tower

Built in 1816 and topped with a wrought-iron campanile.

Oratories and crosses

The oratories of Saint-Éloi and Saint-Martin; a mission cross dated 1860. A 17th-century presbytery.

History of Moissac-Bellevue

The name Moissac is attested in the 13th century and is Roman in origin (Moxiaco / mosiacum). A stronghold from the 11th century, the place came under the seigneurial families of Blacas d'Aups and then Coriolis. In 1860 the commune bought a spring near Vérignon (Aups); the pipeline was completed in 1875. The suffix 'Bellevue' was added to the official name in the 1930s to avoid confusion with Moissac (Tarn-et-Garonne) and to underline the view over the plain and the hills. After heavy depopulation (238 inhabitants in 1793, a low point of 68 in 1962), the commune has seen a revival; population of about 306 inhabitants in 2023.
