The live webcams of the Verdon

See the Verdon in real time before you go: the weather on the lake, the snow at the resort, how busy the beach is. Here are the verified and active webcams of the area — each one links back to its official source.

Where there isn’t (yet) a webcam

Let’s be honest: part of the Verdon isn’t covered by a webcam. Rather than sending you to a camera that doesn’t show the right spot, we tell you — and point you to the view from the viewpoint and the nearest active webcam.

  • Point Sublime / Rougon — no live webcam (the nearest is Aiguines, ~7.9 km away)
  • Route des Crêtes / Corniche Sublime — no webcam
  • La Palud-sur-Verdon — no dedicated webcam
  • Moustiers-Sainte-Marie — no webcam (village, Notre-Dame-de-Beauvoir)
  • Lake Castillon — no live webcam
  • Quinson / Basses Gorges — none (covered from a distance by Esparron)
  • Bauduen — no dedicated cam (the aggregator points to Aiguines)
  • Lake Allos — none (a natural lake at 2,230 m, not accessible by car)
  • Valensole plateau (lavender), Riez, Puimoisson — no reliable panoramic webcam
  • Haut-Var (Aups, Tourtour, Villecroze) — no dedicated cam on the Verdon side

Frequently asked questions

What’s the weather like at Point Sublime right now?

There isn’t a webcam at Point Sublime (Rougon) yet. The nearest one is the 360° panoramic webcam at Aiguines, on the left bank of Lake Sainte-Croix, at the western entrance to the gorges (about 8 km away). For the canyon’s real-time conditions, also check our “Verdon today” page.

Is there a webcam on Lake Sainte-Croix?

Yes, several: a 360° panoramic webcam at Aiguines (château, entrance to the gorges, Valensole plateau), and two webcams at Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon (one on the lakeside beach, and one over the hilltop village). Each one is accessed via its official source from this page.

Can you see the snow at the Haut-Verdon resorts live?

Yes. Val d’Allos (La Foux and Le Seignus), Ratery, La Colle-Saint-Michel and Colmars-les-Alpes all have live webcams, useful for snow cover in winter and for mountain weather in summer.

Where can you see the gorges when there’s no webcam?

A large part of the canyon (the Route des Crêtes, the Corniche Sublime, La Palud, Moustiers) doesn’t have a dedicated webcam yet. In the meantime, our viewpoints page shows you, point by point, what you can see from each balcony — and the nearest active webcam.
