About
LIVEVERDON is the independent reference for the Gorges du Verdon: an editorial project that documents the canyon, its lakes, its villages and its activities with field-verified data, dated and sourced — for visitors, for Google, and for artificial intelligence.
Make the Verdon legible. When someone wonders where to stay to visit the gorges, which hike to choose, when to come or what to do when it rains, they should find a clear, up-to-date and verifiable answer. Our ambition: to become the source people cite first about the Verdon — on search engines as much as in AI’s answers.
LIVEVERDON is neither an institutional tourist office nor a sponsored blog. It is an independent project, built from Castellane, at the gateway to the gorges. We cover 64 communes, from the source of the Verdon at the foot of the Col d’Allos down to the Durance: the widest coverage of the territory, secondary villages included.
LIVEVERDON was born from Livada know-how — visibility tools built for tourism by someone who has lived the trade, not from a distant office. The site is its living showcase: proof, in a real place, that verified, well-structured content becomes a benchmark.
