Terms of use: website, public API and MCP server
This English version is a courtesy translation: the French version prevails. The rules of use of liveverdon.com, its public API and its MCP server, used by AI assistants.
Purpose and publisher
These terms apply to the liveverdon.com website, the public API (https://liveverdon.com/api/v1/) and the MCP server (https://liveverdon.com/mcp). They are published by Florin Livada, sole trader (see the legal notice). Paid offers for businesses are governed by their own terms of sale.
Access
- Free and without an account. The website, the API and the MCP server are used without signing up, without logging in and without a key.
- Read-only. The API and the MCP server only read information already published by LiveVerdon: they do not allow you to book, buy or change anything.
- Availability. LiveVerdon may change, suspend or stop all or part of the service, in particular to maintain or fix it.
Reasonable use
Use the service without hindering others: no mass calls that overload it, no attempt to get around its protections or to access what is not published.
Reusing the data
The factual data served by the website, the API and the MCP server may be reused, including for commercial purposes, under the Licence Ouverte 2.0 (Etalab Open Licence), provided you credit LiveVerdon (liveverdon.com), the original official source and the update date. The following keep their own licence: OpenStreetMap data (ODbL), MET Norway weather data (CC BY 4.0) and the events calendar, collected from third-party sites. The business directory, texts, translations and photos are not under an open licence. Details are in the legal notice; every API and MCP server response states its licence.
What the information is worth
- Official information always prevails. LiveVerdon relays and dates information published by official sources (prefectures, municipalities, Météo-France, the French Health Ministry…). In case of a difference, the order, the official source and the signage on site prevail.
- Information may be missing or may have changed. A municipal order may not appear in the files consulted, and a situation may change between two checks: every piece of information carries its check date.
- The weather is an automatic forecast, not a warning: official weather warnings are issued by Météo-France.
- LiveVerdon is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call 112.
Liability
LiveVerdon has an obligation of means: it checks its information, dates it and cites its sources, but cannot guarantee that it is accurate and up to date at every moment. Before a decision that affects your safety, consult the official source cited. The sites LiveVerdon links to are the responsibility of their publishers, and what your AI assistant does with the answers is governed by its own terms.

Changes, governing law, contact
These terms may change; the applicable version is the one online at the time of use, dated at the bottom of the page. They are governed by French law. Translations are provided for information: the French version prevails. For any question: contact@liveverdon.com (see also the support page).
