Bungee jumping at the Pont de l’Artuby

At about 182 m above the void, the Pont de l’Artuby is one of the highest bridges in Europe for bungee jumping — at the southern gateway to the Grand Canyon of the Verdon. A single operator, Latitude Challenge, has supervised jumping there for over 35 years, between Trigance and Aiguines.

One bridge, one operator, one dizzying drop

Unlike the Verdon’s other activities, bungee jumping at the Pont de l’Artuby comes down to a single place and a single operator. No multitude of providers to compare, but a precise site, measured and supervised for decades — which, with its announced height of about 182 m, has become one of Europe’s best-known destinations for this discipline.

The site

The Pont de l’Artuby

According to Latitude Challenge and the Verdon tourist offices, the jump height reaches about 182 m above the void — one of the highest in Europe for bungee jumping.

Latitude Challenge

The operator, for over 35 years

Jump day

Reception & access

Reception on Saturday from 10am to 12pm and on Sunday from 9am to 12pm; jumps take place only at weekends (Friday is added from mid-July to mid-August). The bridge can be reached only by car, under your own steam — no bus serves the site. Allow the whole day.

Good to know before jumping
  • The jump depends on the weather: in bad weather, it is postponed to a new date rather than cancelled with no solution.
  • No tandem jumps are offered: each participant jumps alone.
  • Don’t jump on an empty stomach and bring water: the day is long, between reception, waiting and the climb back up.
  • The climb back up is on foot, along a sporty, little-developed path, in about 30 to 45 minutes after the jump.
  • Cancellation insurance (about 10% of the price) allows a refund in case of personal mishap — without it, an absence is neither refunded nor rescheduled.

When to come & how to prepare

Jumps take place at weekends, over a season that runs broadly from April to November according to the local tourist offices, with an extension to Friday in high summer (mid-July to mid-August). The bridge is on the D71, between Trigance and Aiguines, not far from Comps-sur-Artuby — the southern gateway to the Grand Canyon of the Verdon.
