What data, and where it comes from

For each page: the name of the business, the town, the products, the points of sale and, where the producer or a tourist office has published them, professional contact details. This information comes from public sources (producers’ own websites, tourist offices, official registers). The sources of each page are listed at the bottom of the page, with the date of verification. When a business carries the name of its owner, that name may appear.

What we do not publish

We do not seek to publish home addresses: only the points of sale given by the producer or by a tourist office appear on a page. We publish no email addresses and no mobile phone numbers. A professional landline number appears only if the producer or a tourist office has published it. We pass none of this on to third parties and do not use it for canvassing.

Legal basis and retention

This processing rests on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in informing visitors about local producers from public professional data. The data is kept for as long as the page is published, and is re-checked at each update.

Your rights

Are you this producer? At any time you can ask for access to your data, for its correction or erasure, or object to this processing (Article 21 GDPR). We examine every request and reply within one month. For a removal, the page is suspended and then taken off the site at the next publication. If a professional address is in fact your home, we erase it at your request.

The reporting form

The reporting form records your message, the page concerned and, if you give it, your email address. Your IP address is recorded only to limit abusive submissions and is erased after 48 hours; the report itself is erased after 12 months. A notification giving the page and the start of the message is sent to the publisher through a notification service. None of this data is sold or used for any other purpose.

Complaints

If, after contacting us, you consider that your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).
