Booking the Blanc-Martel shuttle
Where to book, which ticket to choose, where to park and what to do if the shuttle is full: everything comes from the Verdon Regional Park’s official website.
How do you book the Blanc-Martel shuttle?
The Blanc-Martel shuttle is booked online on navette.parcduverdon.fr, the website of the Verdon Regional Nature Park, which runs the service. You choose a return trip (in the morning from La Palud-sur-Verdon to the Chalet de la Maline, in the afternoon from Point Sublime back to La Palud-sur-Verdon) or a one-way trip to the Chalet de la Maline, then pay online; you do not need an account.
The Blanc-Martel shuttle’s 2026 season ended on 1 November. The Park will publish next season’s timetable and fares on navette.parcduverdon.fr (according to the Park, bookings open from the second half of March).
Without a booking, you can buy a ticket on board on the day (cash or card) only if seats are left: boarding is not guaranteed. Bookings for the next day close at 18:00.

Booking, step by step
On navette.parcduverdon.fr, open the “Réservation” menu, then “Trajet aller-retour” (return) or “Trajet simple” (one way): the calendar on each page shows the running days and the slots still free. The ticket is in your name; you show it to the driver, printed or on your phone.
Take the return ticket if you leave your car: park in the village of La Palud-sur-Verdon, not at the Chalet de la Maline, because the shuttle does not come back there in the afternoon. The one-way ticket is for people who return another way, by coach for example.
The number of shuttles follows demand, with a limit of three a day so the trail is not overcrowded; an extra shuttle can be added up to 48 hours before departure. If online payment fails, the Park advises trying again with mobile data rather than public wifi.
Changes, cancellations, bad weather
A ticket cannot be transferred. A change (moving the trip to another date in the same year, as a credit note) is possible if the request arrives at least 8 working days before the trip, through the form on the Park’s website. Cancellation is only accepted in the cases listed in article 6 of the terms of sale: force majeure (for example a vehicle out of service with no replacement), a shuttle delay of more than 2 hours, a red weather warning.
Under a Météo-France red warning, the shuttle does not run: passengers are told the day before, with the refund arrangements. Under an orange warning, they are told the day before and given advice for their hike.
The end of the trail is diverted: where to catch the shuttle back
After a rockfall, the municipality of Rougon has temporarily closed the section of the trail between the exit of the Couloir Samson and Point Sublime (municipal order no. 750 of 14 August 2026). The hike is still possible: from the turning area of the Couloir Samson, follow the RD23A road, then the GR 49 to Point Sublime. According to the Park, the total time does not change.
This route ends at Point Sublime, where the return shuttle stops, beside the RD952. Do not cross the closed area.
